FFA Week Activities

So proud of our student section for showing school spirit and supporting our basketball boys. Go Panthers!

Congratulations! District Champs!

Mrs. Rosier’s 1st grade class working on Really Great Reading. Students are able to spread out during this time. We have also been fortunate to get new interactive Smart Boards this year, which are amazing! So proud of our staff and students and all of you for your support and setting the bar high for our MCR2 students!

Who can make learning to read the best experience ever? Mrs. Sarah Osburn! She has the most interactive reading lessons I have ever seen. There are no better words than a little girl walking up to me in the hall and saying, “Can I tell you sumpin? I am now a real reader!!! after she leaves this teacher’s classroom! 🥰

2nd grade money skills 💰 💴 💵 🪙
These students have been working hard learning what each coin is worth, how to count it, how many different types of quarters there are and name the presidents on the bills! They are quite the little bankers and are pretty pumped to share their knowledge!
We all know how important it is to learn this lifelong skill, especially when we run into a cashier that is really struggling with it! So please, please, please create these opportunities with your children and count money and discuss change.

Preschool music time with Mrs. Reinig. She puts so much movement and emotion into teaching her love of music with us!

Mrs. Yocum works on vowel and not a vowel activity with kindergarten today. Learning doesn’t always have to be sitting at a desk all day! Thankful our teachers give students choices that work best for their style of learning! Look closely....students are everywhere in this picture!
