I'm proud to announce the completion of the 8-Lane Track Project at Mound City R-2. We have waited a long time since the beginning, but it has been worth the wait. The new LED Lights and Retaining Wall in front of the bleachers were completed in the summer of 2021 while the track itself (asphalt, rubber, and paint) was completed in September 2022. A new scoreboard with Panther Signage and play clocks were also added to enhance the facility. I'm proud to say that Mound City R-2 has a state of the art facility that our community and students are proud of!
