I hope you all had a great Easter. I know we did. All the kids were home over the weekend, which made it awesome. With family around, the COVID-19 pandemic was forgotten for a brief period in time. All was well. When they left to go back to their schedules……… well, we remembered what we are dealing with. The fact that they may not get to come back for a while…..
Our son, is an avid reader and lately has been reading up on survival skills. He has really taken an interest in being able to live off the land so to speak, in the event of some catastrophe. His sisters were making fun of him packing his survival backpack and taking off through the timber for a couple hour hike in the rain. This was after “home church” Sunday morning. He did return and did survive even though he was absolutely soaked and cold. He said it was fun.
