These two young ladies spent their Kickboard points to be principal for the day! We did some classroom observations in the elementary, visited students at lunch, and discussed duties. They had a great idea to have the elementary teachers choose 2 students today that had exceptional behavior! They rewarded them at the end of the day with popcorn in the teachers’ lounge! I enjoyed spending the day with them!

Statistics show that children who do not read over the summer can lose up to two months of learning before returning to school in the fall. Help your child maintain or increase his/her reading achievement by encouraging them to read a few minutes each day. Mrs. Sarah Osburn will be in her Title 1 Reading Classroom the following Thursday’s from 12:30-1:30 to read with students, check out books at their reading level, and take AR quizzes.
